Nadja Duijsters
French teacher
In my adolescence, teaching was at the very bottom of my list of preferred professions. General curiosity was my main motivation for studying. Eventually I went down a broad, general path with a lot of attention for art, followed by a teacher training. I love teaching and I prefer to teach in an environment with passionate youth. First that was the case in a school with a Literature-Art-Drama focus, and eventually I found my way to the Ballet School, a place where passion is not in short supply. The daily challenge for me as a teacher is to deepen pupils’ passion and complement it with a broad base of general knowledge. Knowledge I gained during my studies and which I am still adding to every day by staying curious about many different things.
